There are more than twenty fishing scales, known as "bilancioni", in the lower course of the Piave, a river sacred to the country. Almost all privately owned, they insist in the floodplain area. Their story begins in the 18th century and is handed down from father to son. Curiosity reigns supreme among tourists and many wonder what the characteristics of these structures are.
