The BAPTISTRY, a monument of peace, wanted by the "Boys of 99" on the banks of the "sacred river" Piave, was inaugurated on 19 June 1983. It has roots in the past, in memory of the fallen of the Great War, but it is above all a warning of peace and brotherhood for all peoples and in particular for future generations. Every year the anniversary of the inauguration is celebrated with the "Day of Peace" whose "highlight" moment is the Holy Baptism of Italian and foreign children as a sign of peace and brotherhood between peoples.
