The Jakobuskirche has an unusual design: it stands round and crouched in the landscape. The baroque rotunda was built in 1733, but in 1915 the roof, organ and original paintings by the Tachau painter Elias Dollhopf fell victim to the flames in a fire. Everything was restored in the years that followed.

The church was built in 1733 by Philipp Muttone. It burned down in 1915 and was then rebuilt.

The church stands out due to its compact shape and wide cross-section. Unfortunately the church was closed the day we were there.
