The Gen. Stefan Grot-Rowecki Bridge in Warsaw, formerly Toruński Bridge, was built in 1977–1981 as part of the Toruńska Route. It is 645 m long and consists of two structurally independent parts, each with five lanes. The reconstruction of the bridge to the parameters of the S8 expressway lasted from 2013 to 2015. The bridge is one of the largest in Warsaw and is a key element of the city's expressway bypass. In 2015, one dismantled bridge bearing was sent to the Pontiseum at the Road and Bridge Research Institute.

There is sometimes a lot of sand and exhaust fumes on the path, which is not a pleasant ride, especially when you are driving in the opposite direction to the cars. Steep climbs characterize this bridge.
