The Desert Homestead Lodge is set up like a ranch. In the very chic bungalows you have a lot of space and from your own terrace you have a wonderful view of the wilderness. You should never leave the room door open, otherwise you will have a jackal, a zebra or a horse in the room. From here you can be in Sossusvlei in about 30 minutes. We can only warmly recommend staying here! ondili.com/lodges/desert-homestead-lodge

Are there specific routes recommended for trail runners or cyclists near the lodge?

The lodge primarily highlights horse riding and guided walks. While the expansive nature reserve offers open spaces suitable for trail running and cycling, specific marked routes for these activities are not explicitly mentioned.
