The Petit Minou lighthouse watches over the entrance to Brest harbor opposite the Crozon peninsula. It is built on a rocky point which juts out into the sea, accessible by its majestic stone bridge. The setting is magnificent, with stunning views of the sea and the beach.
Visiting the lighthouse is chargeable, and possible between July and August.

The Petit Minou lighthouse is a 26-metre-high lighthouse that indicates the way to Brest by entering the harbour. Like the other towers along the coast, it enhances the already magnificent landscape of the Breton coast.

Backed by the Vauban military fort of the same name and located in line with the Portzic lighthouse, more anchored in the harbor, this 26 meter high lighthouse, which reaches 34 meters above high sea level, stands on a gigantic rock advanced in the waves. Like the neighboring fort, its primary role was to secure the entrance to Brest harbor. The emblematic Brest lighthouse opens its doors in the summer: in July and August, this lighthouse which watches over the entrance to Brest Harbor is open to the public.
