Abutments of the railway bridge in Maszewo. At the time of its construction in 1902, it was the highest bridge in Pomerania. The bridge was built of riveted steel. When the railway line was closed in 1992, the bridge began to deteriorate. Neither the Polish State Railways nor the then authorities of the Maszewo commune showed any interest in renovating and maintaining this unique monument. As a result, the bridge was dismantled in 2007.
