Vandring
The springs are located directly by the sea. They are at sea level but provide clean drinking water. The inhabitants of Funtana drew their water from these springs as early as the second century. They are also the namesake of the fishing town, whose name is derived from the Latin word for well. In the past, the freshwater springs were not only used to supply the residents of Funtana, but the pier was also used for thermal baths, and docking ships replenished their water supply.
