Vandring
The Vignola tower, built in 1605, is part of the complex of fortified structures which, from the early Middle Ages until the mid-nineteenth century, constituted the defensive, sighting and communication system of the coastal strip of Sardinia. The tower is located on a promontory between the tip of Li Francesi and the hamlet of Vignola, and was in visual contact with the tower of Santa Reparata. The tower offers a magnificent panoramic view of the beach and the surrounding juniper forest.

Unfortunately, the view from the Saracen Tower was not possible in 2020 because the entrance was blocked by the local authorities. Unfortunately....

The Vignola Tower is part of the fortified structures present on a large part of the Sardinian coast. Born for defensive purposes, the tower is 25 m above sea level. and allows an excellent view of both the sea and the hinterland
