The Church of Santo Stefano is located in the Balaiana region, not far from the Baldu Palace, outside the courtyard, in a position often found in medieval centers. It can be compared to Gallurian field churches of the 17th and 18th centuries and is characterized by a single aula, without apse and with an overhanging roof.
The structure was built of granite, with an arch dividing the nave inside; the back wall faces the masonry altar and above it is a niche housing a marble cult statue. Below is a marble epigraph for Saint Stephen, the proto-martyr.
