As you climb the long staircase to the cathedral, the magnificent baroque looks like the church will rise to heaven.
The devastating earthquake in 1542, 1613 and 1642 severely damaged the cathedral. The rebuilding should now be as magnificent and magnificent as never before and so incredibly beautiful it looks today.
