Comacchio is a town famous for eels. The eel factory stands out with its 12 fireplaces which connect to the fire room to cook the fish. Eels are on the verge of extinction due to their very complex reproductive cycle and raising them is very difficult. A visit to the museum is worthwhile to learn the history of this area. former eel processing factory. Today there is a small nice museum in it. You can still buy canned eel.

Here is the early medieval boat made of pine and fir wood, 12 meters long and 3 meters wide, with a flat bottom and an elongated shape containing small furnishings, fragments of amphorae and footwear found during the 1998 redevelopment works of the park of Theodoric in Ravenna adjacent to the Tomb of the Gothic King where in the fifth century small boats for commercial use landed; once funding has been obtained, this archaeological find of the highest value will be transferred to the Classis museum in Classe
