Halfway down the descent to Bimthang, after navigating the steep moraine of the Salpudanda Glacier, you reach the grassy moraine of Dangboche Kharka and a high camp. Now the path becomes easier and mostly mobile. In the tea houses of the camp you can eat well and also spend the night. After the camp, the path continues to Bimthang through an impressive moraine landscape with ice lakes, fascinating flora and imposing snow and ice-covered peaks in the background.
