The Cistercian Abbey in Mogiła is a monastery complex in the eastern part of Krakow in the Nowa Huta district, it is one of the most important sacral buildings in the city. It is located in the former village of Mogiła.
The Cistercian monks came to the village of Kacice, and in 1225 they moved to the village of Mogiła. Here they began their service according to the ideals of the Order contained in the document called "Charta charitatis".
