The Parish Church of Sant'Agata is located in the historic center of Cremona, overlooking the Cittanova Palace on Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi. The original church on this site was built in 1077 in the Romanesque style and was first rebuilt in the 12th century. Only the bell tower remains of this Romanesque church.
Inside, it boasts stunning frescoes by Giulio Campi and remarkable works of art such as the Table of Saint Agatha. The church's Neoclassical façade, designed by Luigi Voghera, adds to its architectural charm.
