This sculpture by the Romanian artist Idel Ianchelevici was commissioned for the 1939 water exhibition and overlooked the Lido pool at the entrance to the Albert Canal.
The painted steel arch with a radius of 10 m and a weight of 3.5 tons; the diver measures 3.20 m, weighs 80 kg and is made of hollow polyester on a metal structure (Wikipedia).
