If you walk from Munkmarscher Hafen along the Wadden Sea towards Keitum, you will inevitably pass the so-called Bridge of Lies. It is a small bridge in the middle of nature to keep pedestrians' feet dry during high tide and has inherited its name from its predecessor.

In the past, the parents told the children that this rickety bridge would collapse on the next crossing if they tell lies. However, the bridge construction is so stable today that it will not happen. ;)
