Old Kingston Road is a dirt road that leads you further into The Preserve from the parking lot. The towering trees are impressive and although this might not be to most exciting trail (a straight dirt road), The Preserve is your best bet in the Myrtle Beach area for a long trail run without having to cross any major roads.
The Lewis Ocean Bay Heritage Preserve also serves as a hunting ground, which means you have to wear bright orange most of the year.
