Mierczany is a small village in the Lubuskie region, belonging to the Torzym commune in the Sulęciński district. There is a brick, baroque inner church with a tower at the front. The temple is small, rectangular and was built in 1747. Originally Evangelical, from March 19, 1958 as the Church of St. The Bridegroom Józefa serves the Catholics and is subordinate to the parish of the Holy Virgin Mary, Queen of Poland in Boczów.
