Vandring
It used to be a larger train station. You can still see this in the many disused tracks. The historic reception building is worth seeing.
Today it is a sleepy border station. But there are connections to Wörth and further, for example, to Karlsruhe - sometimes every hour (approx. 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., KVV area) - and to Strasbourg with the TER.
The signposted Lignes de la Lauter hiking trail also starts directly at the train station. visit.alsace/de/267000787-wandel-die-lauter-linie

Mountainbiking
The DB and the SNCF drive to the border station. The DB runs every hour and the buses to the surrounding villages also run from here.

Lauterbourg train station is the train station in the Alsatian city of Lauterbourg. It was built in 1874 as part of the construction of the Wörth–Strasbourg railway and opened when it went into service on July 25, 1876. On June 29, 1900, the Lauterbourg–Wissembourg railway line, which branched off from the main line, was opened.
