The bridge still retains the original signs where you can read the distances in leagues. Built in 1929 under the motto "For civilization and progress", the bridge allows the crossing of the El Plata stream, which usually carries a good flow of water. If you stop there for a few minutes, you may be able to find some habitué of its waters, capybaras are animals in the area that are not very easy to see but are usually very close to the water, so here you can spot some.
