Palomares in Vilassar de Mar is surely one of the best-known and most iconic beach restaurants in all of Maresme. Located on the homonymous beach, it is a landmark and at the same time forms the silhouette of the Vilassarenc coastline, together with the Yacht Club and the Espigí de Garbí booths. The judicial application of the Coastal Law is a sword of Damocles about to cut the three heads. But Vilassar de Mar will try until the end to preserve what it considers heritage buildings on the seafront.

Let's save Palomares! If someone doesn't remedy it, the Palomares restaurant in Vilassar will be demolished. It is a glass building, with terraces. It does not impede access to the beach or sea views. The bar and the booths and showers at the bottom that hosted such a good vibe have already been closed.
The freed space will be occupied by motorhomes that are already making the place ugly. Instead of a small business that supports twenty families and serves many customers, the coastline will be monopolized by bulky and opaque private vehicles.

Finally closed, inhabited by squatters who fill the beach in front with their 5l bottles full of urine, broken glass and a dangerous place far from the hand of God.
