"The historic station with reception building and goods handling in Pfalzfeld is in a beautiful location above the village. Opposite is the well-preserved water tower, which supplied the steam locomotives with service water at the beginning of rail traffic in 1906. In 1988, train traffic was discontinued and the tracks were dismantled. In the The connection was built on the tracks of the Schinderhannes cycle path from Pfalzfeld to Simmern and is very popular with cyclists, hikers and skaters. Today the building is privately owned."
