Crossing the river, you have a great view from the bridge. A little stop is worth it here, so you can enjoy the picturesque view of the river floodplain.

A great way to access the Innerleithen trails from town or from the campsite, and also part of a great cycle path network. Pause to check out the wildlife on the river (I saw common merganser ducks on my first crossing) and say hello to the friendly ponies!
