Victoria Falls is a wide waterfall of the Zambezi between the border towns of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and Livingstone in Zambia. The falls have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1989.

Mosi-oa-Tunya means "the thundering smoke" in English, that's what the Africans call the gigantic Victoria Falls of the Zambezi, between Zimbabwe and Zambia. 1.5 kilometers wide and up to 100 meters deep, the water masses fall into the gorge. There is almost always a mist of water over the gorge, giving rise to the mist, and the thunder of the falling water can really be heard from afar
