The round tower northwest of the former Jesuit College, built around 1500, still gives a good idea of the course of the city wall in the west of the city along the flight of the Colleg to the Lower Gate. The area of the former Jesuit College reached from Mindelmühlbach to the western city wall. Economical buildings and gardens were replaced in the 20th century by the vocational school buildings.
