Cabañas de Yepes, in the Mesa de Ocaña (Toledo), is a small town with rural charm, historical heritage, and a natural setting ideal for relaxing.
Parish Church of Our Lady of the Assumption
Built in the 16th century, it features a central nave and chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Socorro.
Interesting fact: its clock (1829) uses the same clock system as the one at Puerta del Sol in Madrid.
Hermitage of San Sebastián
Dating from the 18th century, in the popular style, it is located on the road to Huerta de Valdecarábanos.

You must see the church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción de Cabañas de Yepes: it is built in a Mudejar style with stone and brick, but this is not what is peculiar. It actually draws attention because it is raised on the side of a ravine, which gives it the impression of being hung. The best way to see it is to stand on Calle de la Cárcel, which starts at Plaza de la Constitución. There a viewpoint allows peeking into the back of the church.
