There is also a shelter site along Gränsleden with the small shelter, not suitable for overnight stays, with a surrounding bench and table and a dry toilet. When I was there, however, it was filled to the brim like the others along the way.
The shelter site is in the forest, which has a very uneven ground. Only directly on the shore of the lake is there a level space that is sufficient for a small tent. From there you have a nice view of the Áhkká Mountains when the visibility is good.
