The railway bridge was once created as an iron construction. She has kept her special character even after the expansion. Below the railway bridge, the pedestrian bridge leads through. From her you can see the Aare and the small island.

The Aare gorge in Brugg is a cliff-like river breakthrough of the Aare in the north of the city of Brugg in the canton of Aargau. In a 1400 meters long and up to 15 meters narrow rock channel the river crosses a southern foothills of the Bruggerberg, which consists mainly of hard Malmkalken of the Tafeljuras. Despite its location in the Bruges urban area, the Aareschlucht remained largely untouched and has been a natural monument of national importance since 1996.
