Cykling

Of course, an interruption of a cycle path usually does not receive a recommendation, but we have to live with that. On the other hand, the Bergisches Plateau is full of life and plenty of opportunities to discover...Wicked Woods, Wichlinghauser train station, parcours, chapel, etc.
Let me tell you that this section is one with multiple uses. So nobody who belongs to the cyclists and we have to take care and give together. Slow down & keep cool.

Cykling

The new residential area "Bergisches Plateau" on the site of the former Wichlinghausen marshalling yard is still a mess in terms of traffic. There is a residential street. and an asph. Footpath with "cyclists free". In addition, there are insufficiently lowered curbs, a beacon light with a long waiting time and a poorly secured road crossing. Unfortunately, this is the weak point of the otherwise continuous Nordbahn-Kohlentrasse cycle path.

After the free passage from Hattingen, this part of the route takes getting used to. Although it is nice to see all the children playing in the park. After the Wichlinghauser train station you can enjoy again.
