This work of art created by Klaus Rinke was once the namesake of the "Bergische Sonne" adventure pool, which can be found here. The swimming pool has now been demolished and the work of art is now rotting away...

The “Bergische Sonne” is a sculpture by the artist Prof. Klaus Rinke. On April 26, 1992, the artist and his buyer, Dieter Rosenkranz, one of the investors in the former leisure pool, inaugurated the yellow sculpture.
