Vandring
The local mountain El Morro de Arica - can be reached via a steep path. From here you have a beautiful view of the city, the port, the Pacific and the "Isla del Alacrán". The story of El Morro and the city's conquest during the Saltpeter War by the Chilean army on June 7, 1880 is told in the adjacent Museo Histórico y de Armas.
