The old lighthouse on the summit (349m) was built in 1850 on the site of a medieval pirate lookout. At that time it was the first lighthouse on the Balearic Islands and showed the way to ships until 1910. From the terrace you have a panoramic view across the waterway from Sant Elm to Mallorca. On a clear day you can see as far as Ibiza.
