Breckon sands is a white sand beach in the North of Yell which has the largest of sand dune and dune grassland on the Shetland islands. The beach is sheltered from the prevailing south-westerly winds and has is in the perfect position to watch the sunset over the Atlantic ocean. As it can only be accessed by footpath you should jump off the bike and walk down.
