The town hall was built in 1900 and 1901 on the site of a previous building built in 1639. The cellar vaults and two inscription panels have been preserved from the previous building. In the foyer there is a wooden plaque from 1639, on which the names of the council members who commissioned the building at the time are listed. A relief from 1726 shows the city coat of arms. Before the old building from 1639, there was another previous building on the same spot.
