The view in the morning at six at sunrise offers a fantastic aerial perspective over Bochum. So just before / behind the "village" I come across a lot of nature: Fox, sparrowhawk and green woodpecker can be photographed.

Burgaltendorf is one of the southern Essen city
share with rural character. The district in the middle
te of the Ruhr peninsula impresses with a varied
rich landscape with fields and forest areas. looks
from the vantage point in a north-northeast direction,
one recognizes the Herz-Jesu-Kirche, a basilica that
Built in 1900 in Romanesque style. In the east is
the ruins of Altendorf Castle. The castle became
erected in the 12th century and went through a
wonderful story.
