The Parco Valentino is very close to the Po and is Turin's largest green area. But in reality it is much more than a traditional park. For many years it was Italy's most important motorcycle race track, before that it was the seat of the royal house Savoie. Today it is one of the most beautiful sights of Turin.
If you visit the Parco Valentino, you should definitely take time for the Valentino Castle, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Worth mentioning are the wonderful frescoes and paintings as well as the luxurious rooms that delight every visitor.

Nice place during the day. At night you should pay a little more attention. The bridge is one of my favourites of Torino.
