Györ is a western Hungarian city with around 130,000 inhabitants. The city has county rights. It is located in western Pannonia, the Little Hungarian Plain. Here the Raab flows into the Mosoni Duna (Moson Danube or Little Danube), a right branch of the Danube. Source: Wikipedia

Györ was founded by the Celts as a fortress of Arrabona and later expanded by the Romans, retaining this name, into a military and civil town on the Danube Limes. One of the most beautiful baroque cities in Hungary with a historic old town.
