The Church of St. Germanus is the Protestant church of Weißandt-Gölzau. It is located in the town of Südliches Anhalt in the district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld in Saxony-Anhalt. The church is a listed building and is registered as an architectural monument in the register of monuments with the registration number 094 70794.[1]

Stylistically, the oldest parts of the church, especially the lower part of the tower with its twin arcades, date back to the time of its first mention in 1202. The patronage of St. Germanus also indicates that it was built before 1200. In 1902, Friedrich Gothe added a brick bell storey to the fieldstone tower in the neo-Renaissance style, based on the previous upper part from 1590. The inscription on the nave dates from 1496 and is accordingly late Gothic in style. The choir and north sacristy were probably built at the same time.[2][3]
