Isola del Liri is a famous village in the province of Frosinone. The historic city center develops on an island formed by the Liri river.
Each of the two arms of the watercourse has a drop of approximately 30 meters, thus giving rise to the two characteristic waterfalls of the village: the Grande (Vertical) and that of Valcatoio (or, in ancient times, of Gualcatojo or also Cascatelle).
