The Elban caprili are structures that were used for sheep farming and represent a testimony of the recent pastoral past of the Island of Elba. The so-called Capanna di Marco is one of these and takes its name from the nineteenth-century landowner Marco Palmieri. It is located in an enviable panoramic position in the locality of Grottarelle.
