    Vandring

The Rocca Aldobrandesca di Talamone was built around the 12th century as a watchtower and defense of the port, but these defenses were not enough to prevent its destruction, at the turn of the 15th century, by the Saracen pirates of Suleiman I (that of the of the stories of the comic Dago).
Only with the entry of Talamone in the State of the Presidi was the fortress recovered and strengthened and which, with a few modifications, has come down to our days.
