St. Wolfgang's Chapel dates back to the 15th century and was once a pilgrimage destination. It is idyllically situated west of the town, across the Tauber River, and is still the scene of the traditional Whitsun ride.

The St. Wolfgang chapel (also Wolfgang chapel) is a built in the 15th century pilgrimage chapel in Distelhausen, a district of Tauberbischofsheim in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg. It belongs to the pastoral unit Tauberbischofsheim in the deanery Tauberbischofsheim of the Archdiocese of Freiburg. Since 1472 the thistle houses Pfingstritt (also: St. Wolfgang ride) to the St. Wolfgang chapel instead.

Gothic chapel St. Wolfgang is located at the cemetery of Distelhausen. The chapel was donated in the 15th century to support Wolfgang pilgrims on their way to St. Wolfgang am Abensee.
