Tversted Klitplantage is the oldest dune plantation that is part of North Jutland's state forest area; it was planted in 1858 and now covers an area of 775 hectares. The plantation is relatively sheltered in the middle of Tannis Bay. The resort of Skiveren is located immediately to the east of the plantation, surrounded by a large nature reserve with mostly state-owned beach and dune areas.

Magnificent forest and heath areas. Extensive bike tours on gravel and firm sandy soil. Totally lonely! 👍 Take away food and drink, no locality in Tversted Plantation.
