It is really remarkable how many trees have been washed away by the surf and fallen into the sea! On this side of Cape Kolka, the phenomenon extends at least as far as the nearest village. In some places, the marked hiking trail has already been washed away and new paths are forming along the beach.

On the east coast of the cape there are many trees on the beach. An impressive picture and a great challenge in finding your way.

If you don't have good shoes, you should avoid the path through the trees. There is a normal hiking trail next to the beach. Otherwise, it's a bizarre sight.
