Cykling
These were unreliable and were replaced by cast-iron signposts for military reasons around 1863.
Most of the cast-iron signposts were manufactured by the royal ironworks in Wasseralfingen and cost approximately 6 guilders.
After the dissolution of the Oberämter (Higher Administrative Courts) around 1936, this type of signpost was no longer used.
After that, yellow wooden signs with a spike were introduced, which were then replaced by steel panels.
