In Maren-Kessel, the building served as the town hall from 1908, but we don't think it was built for that, because Camelot has been there since 1901.
And why would you build a town hall that looks like a small castle in a sober Brabant farming village? But why was it built on that spot in Maren?

The British are proud of their King Arthur, who kept his palace in the mythical Camelot. Where that castle stood has been a mystery to the British for centuries, but we found it; just on the dike in Maren...
In Maren-Kessel, the building served as town hall from 1908, but we don't think it was built for that purpose, because Camelot has been there since 1901.
