With dilapidated buildings that were doomed to disappear,
the municipality of Kasterlee, in collaboration with the Heemkundige Kring, is setting up a Heemerf near Keeses Molen. The complex is called Waaiberg after the old name of this region; it wants to bear witness to the architectural style and way of life of the Kempenaar at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. There is a long-façade farm, long barn, bakehouse, biehal and karkot.
