Where most logging tracks are potholed and littered with branches, the surface here was level, consistent and grippy making it fast.
Keep an eye out for deer. And remember to stop and take in the sounds from the wilderness.

Forsinard Flows is a beautiful and unique place, but its isolation can be surprising. Before you venture into this area, keep in mind:
Little services: No shops, restaurants, or lodgings in the immediate vicinity. Bring enough water, food, and a plan for sleeping if necessary.
Limited network signal: In some areas, your phone will not receive reception. An offline map is essential.
Unpredictable weather: Wind, rain, and cool temperatures can make the route difficult, even in summer. Dress accordingly.
