The Batterie de Blémur is a fascinating historical military battery nestled within the picturesque Montmorency Forest, north of Paris, France. Standing at an elevation of 228 meters, this man-made monument was constructed between 1875 and 1882 as a crucial part of the extensive defense system protecting Paris after the Franco-Prussian War. It served to complement the nearby Fort de Domont, strategically covering the valley between Domont and Ecouen and monitoring the Beaumont railway line.

The Blémur battery is currently private property and a training center for security companies.

The Blémur battery was built between 1875 and 1882. Attached to Fort Domont, the battery is a sacred and secure place. It includes several casemates (in other words blockhouses), and many entrances. The role of the battery is similar to that of Domont: to prohibit the Beaumont railway while monitoring the plain of France. Today, even if the barracks are totally empty, the Blémur battery remains and remains accessible to walkers, visitors and has become a curiosity of the Montmorency forest.
